Hey guys,
New suscriber here, first of all chilango is the knickname of people living in Mexico City, it is pronounce as chill and mango (chilango), I had a dream last night that could fix this offseason.
First hire Zac Taylor as HC, then bring his brother to be the QB coach (as you well appointed, there is nothing to do at offensive coordinator as Kubiak is getting it). Now get Nick Foles as a free agent, forget about drafting a QB, nor this year at least, Maybe Press Taylor is the guy that convinces Foles coming to Denver, at draft with the number 10 pick get a Cornerback stud, and then fix the O-line. After that try getting at free agency Larry Fitzgerald and the Honeybadger
I know it sounds a little too farfetched but I think it might work

Ryan/Zac, you guys are killing it. One week of watching the baby full time and I can’t keep up in one of the most entertaining weeks ever. Let’s not slow things down in the offseason!

I’m with @chilangobronco in terms of Nick Foles. Forget the years he was at St. Louis under the Jeff Fisher prison and this guy is a proven QB. What are your thoughts on stopping all this nonsense and just go get the guy as he has at least 5 good years left? If he indeed becomes a Free Agent, let’s see if John Elway earns his paycheck again and pull in Nick. Otherwise, if his option is picked up by Philly (risky), like you said, Ryan, I would not hesitate to give up a 1st round pick this year and a 2nd round pick next year and whatever throw ins in addition. If they wanted two 1st rounders though, I’d hesitate. BTW, he’s listed at 6’6″!

Lastly, I hope you guys don’t spend even a minute on any Antonio Brown trade chatter, no thanks.

Hey guys, it’s been a while but want to commend you on the continued excellent coverage through the season. I’m pumped for the off season coverage. I’m looking forward to the senior bowl coverage.

I wasn’t excited about the coaching staff after the Vance new hires and thought from the beginning Keenum wasn’t going to do well in a Musgrave system. Keenum just doesn’t get the ball out fast enough with the accuracy required. Here’s my list for head coaches: Shannahan (dream I know), Taylor, Munchak, Pagano, Fangio, Flores.

Hey guys! I got a quick and short question for you. Out of all of these head coaches, which one would have most success with Nick Foles and why? Thanks! Shakka!

Those 2 picks from Foles early in the game were very Keenum-esque. They’re not keeping Foles.

Hey Zac and Ryan,

I have been rooting for Fangio to get the job since the search has started. I like the idea of an older guy getting his first shot after being overlooked for many years. Reminds me a little of a Zimmer or Arians hire, older guys who were excellent coaches, just overlooked because they struggle with the interview process. Anyway, the rumor is that Fangio is very a very “up-front” “no-bull” personality and because of that he does not interview well. How important is the actual interview for Fangio today? Do you believe if he struggles through the interview that his actual body of work will be enough to get him the job? Also, do you see Fangio’s personality fitting well with Elway, seems to me they could rub each other the wrong way?

Hope Elway can nail this hire!

Thanks guys

Bluf: I want a Roquan Smith

I’m getting off the topic of the coaching search, but cheese and rice this team needs a stud middle linebacker. Watching these teams in the playoffs has me so jealous of the young talent at linebacker. VanderEsch, Roquan Smith, Jaylon Smith, Leonard, and even McKinney & Mosley are all so fun to watch. Then there’s the Broncos. We’ve got Marshall, who can’t seem to stay healthy, and Davis. Try to hold back the excitement. Look around the league and see all these talented defensive field generals and then tell me who we’ve had that comes close since Al Wilson. This team needs one. This team needs a lot but inside linebacker has been neglected by Elway for years and until we get our QB I think they have to focus on perfecting the defense. Put whatever weapons you want around Case Keenum and hes still going to suck, just look at the talent they had around him this year. Any receiver can catch a pass for minus 2 yards. Defense wins championships and Denver’s defense is on the fringe of being one of those historical teams.

Hi y’all,

What a wildcard weekend! I wish Lamar had trashed the Chargers… Now we have a Pats/Bolts game where I want everyone to lose.

But back to the coaching search in Denver, do you have any insight into how the Broncos chose who they’re interviewing for head coach? How’d they pick the current candidates? Why not look more thoroughly at coaches having success running forward-thinking offenses, like Todd Monken (TB), Eric Bieniemy (KC), or Freddie Kitchens (CLE)? And did they do anything at all to explore the college ranks? The process just feels so far from thorough. I agree with what Ryan said at the beginning of the search—go interview EVERYONE!

Thanks!

Out of curiosity, do you guys see the Eagles giving Wentz the boot instead of Foles? I only ask because of the injury concerns for Wentz and a proven Nick Foles. If by chance Wentz was available, would you be on board with acquiring him?

Hey Ryan and Zac,

Would you guys be willing to trade a mid to late round pick for Falco, then trade Miller or Harris for some first round picks next year. (Not saying I want to trade Miller or Harris) but would free up some cap and could fill a lot of holes. I think we need to look at a 2-3 year rebuild plan. I think we have too many holes to fill. Need 2-3 starters on the O line, a new TE, and a big play proven wideout. And on the defensive side need some inside linebacker help, corners and safeties.
Thanks for all the great Coverage you two provide! Also I realized I never told you where I’m from, Lincoln NE. Go Huskers!

Hey RK and Z

First, we need to get Lindsay in as the Rookie of the Year. The BSN family needs to get out there and vote if they haven’t already done so!

Anyways, guys I’m so stoked for this off season. It just can’t get any better than the BSN coverage, period. My question is what do you guys think about the recent buzz regarding Nick Foles hitting the free agency market? Is there any interest in getting him to Denver should he become available? I know John said he wanted to shake the trees to see what QB options are out there, but would he have any real interest in signing Foles? If not, what other likely available QB’s do you see the Broncos giving a shot to get to the 2020 draft (assuming they forgo drafting a QB this year)? Sorry if my question is redundant!

Thanks as always for the great content, keep it up and Go Broncos!
