Yo Yo fellas! Got my free shirt and I must say, love the Phillip Lindsay Home Grown Shirt! Very chill. What is the name of the closing song for the podcast? It’s very chill and would sound fantastic sitting around the fire and jamming to!

Also to the Gent who commented on the last podcast regarding the “tall” shirt sizes, I’m 6’3″, 250 and I got a XXL instead of an XL and it fits perfectly. Cheers mates

Hi CheziChills. I was the one asking about the tall size shirt sizes. I usually wear 2XLT t-shirts. I’m 6’4″, 265 so a bit bigger than you, but we’re pretty close. I’ll give the 2XL a shot and report back. Thanks for the information!

Howdy guys – you mentioned that you have to be careful about what you share from practice, to not get in trouble. Can you share what – kind – of information you aren’t able to share? Is it types of plays that you see are ran? Nature of injuries? Coach planning? Personality stuff? What do you guys see that would give competition an edge?

Thanks!

Hey guys I would feel comfortable moving forward without Chris IF Callahan didn’t have such a shotty injury history. We have already seen what can happen with Leary and it’s been dreadful. Hoping they can get something done with Chris.

Another question I’ve asked myself in the past. When players get injured does the team cover medical expenses? I’m assuming so but with all the surgery’s every year I’m sure it gets very expensive. Is there some kind of health insure built into contracts or is it simply we need this player so we will do whatever it takes to get them healthy.

Hi Zac and Ryan. I’ve coached debate for several years. It’s well known that public speaking terrifies a lot of people. I’m curious how NFL players handle this. I assume it’s a non-issue for seasoned players like Von Miller or Peyton Manning that have developed a rapport with the media members on site, but what about rookies or new free agents? Does the team help coach them to be better speakers in front of the media? Do they seek help on their own? Or do they just wing it until they get comfortable? Just curious.

I live in Iowa too! Eastern Iowa. Around here the best beer you’ll find is probably from Bent River Brewing. They have all sorts of flavors. If you’re ever in the area ask them for the Halle Berry. It’s a mixture of their JALEpeno ale and a raspBERRY wheat. I know it sounds weird but it’s just something that works.
My dream scenario for the Broncos this year is that Lock picks up the playbook unrealistically quick and they can trade Flacco and use his money to pay CHJ.
Speaking of Juwann James, what’s up with his eyebrows? Is that genetic or does he shave them off?

Well we let the chiefs get Darren Lee for a 6th rounder. Guess Vic didn’t like him. I still think ILB is a weakness for us. Do you see us signing a guy close to the start of training camp and if so who is out there that we could get???

Guys,

Do you guys have access to past Broncos information that we cant get our hands on? I hate to site Wikipedia and i realize that it leaves my argument on wobbly legs, but it does back my comment about Harris starting his rookie season as a safety, before making the full switch to Corner in 2012 because of poor Corner play by Caussius Vaughn and Perish Cox.

Chris also played Safety at Kansas as well as Corner.

I know its been awhile since he played and im not poundinbthe table for 15 mil. Harris is a far better player than any other DB the Broncos have. I understand this system isnt reliant on talent at Corner, however wouldn a system that makes okay corners good, be better with a great all pro corner?!

Much love.. Back to work!

Just wanna say I’ve listened to the podcast for a while ( and it’s by far the best broncos podcast btw) but just recently became a subscriber and am very happy with my decision. Also, I love my new Phil Lindsay Homegrown shirt. I’m a native coloradan and lifelong bronco fan but have lived in houston most of my life and it’s really nice to finally have a place to get all the local insider info about my favorite football team. Yall do such great work and just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your efforts. Keep it up. And go broncos.
