Great Pod and content guys. Out of staters like me depend on your coverage (in my case, Pasadena, CA). So glad I finally subscribed.
Can you help me understand what is going on with DT? He seemed to have several drops, and the one in the final drive nearly cost us the game (thank you, Tim Patrick). Is it a lack of concentration, poor technique or something else?
Thanks

Greetings from Brisbane, Australia.
Ryan, I have to thank you. As you were so high on Phillip Lindsay, I traded for him prior to week one in my Fantasy League.
I have won my two games so far off the back of his performances as my flex W/RB.
Also, always a great Pod, you guys make my commute to and from work bearable/enjoyable.
Cheers,
Harry

Greetings Pod Masters,
After watching the the first two games, and considering Seattle’s Monday night stinker in Chitown, do you feel any desire to lower your Broncos win forecasts?
Also, do you think it’s time to start Sutton or Patrick over DT?
Thanks,
CH

Hello BSN family
Quick question: am I the only one to find it refreshing to see VJ get in the face of the refs after some “bad” calls. I don’t recall seeing that last year. Your thoughts?

I can not tell you how much I love watching Philip Lindsay run the ball. Every time he touches the ball I hold by breath because he has the ability to take it the distance. Just goes to show you cant measure a players HEART!
That being said, I do worry about his small size. Not that his size will hinder his play making ability, but rather that he will get banged up playing a 16 game NFL schedule. Each week he is being asked to carry more of the load and I am worried that if that continues he will get injured or worn down by the much bigger competition. What are your thoughts?
Also, do I need to pump the breaks on ordering my #30 Lindsay jersey? Or is his performance through 2 games enough to tell that this guy is going to be a play-maker in Denver for years?
Keep up the good work!

I think the Ravens will lean heavily on Mark Andrews against Denver. He seems to be a security blanket for Flacco in the first 2 games. What do you think Denver can do to combat this considering their issues against the TE position?
The Raven’s running game has been garbage in the first 2 games. They average 3.3 ypc and their best rusher so far has been their backup, rookie QB. I will state the obvious by saying that Denver has a great opportunity to make the Ravens one dimensional and force them to throw on every down. The real question is can the secondary do enough to keep that throwing game in check? After 2 suspect games I haven’t seen it yet and that’s worrisome.

Hey guys,
Great pod as always, the content is superb!
This is not really a football question but a little fun for the BSN community.
As I was listening to todays pod and Zac brought up a comment regarding Lindsay’s run looking like a madden play, I thought to myself…
We already have a fantasy league with the BSN community. Why not have a Madden franchise league also? Would be soo fun!
Would love to hear the feedback on that and as always keep up the great work ?
Xoxo

Ryan, I think you may be spending too much time around Adrian Dater at BSN HQ as it appears the daterjinx may be rubbing off on you. Perhaps it’s about time to start doing more podcasts from the Doghaus. I just wanted to commend Vance Joseph on his coaching this week as he gets a lot of flak. I agreed with his challenge decisions even though the commentators and replay officials didn’t agree. Tim Patrick having the heads up to turn up field and go out of bounds strikes me as good coaching. And I would also like to give VJ credit, though it may just be how amazing Philip Lindsay is, but I have to say how impressed I was of the veteran move Lindsay made when he took that huge scamper upfield and switched the ball from his left hand to his right as he was running down the sideline with a defender in pursuit. Very heads up play! Also was it just me or did we see a lot of Brock on the field this week which was a bit concerning as he didn’t seem to do very well.
World of Suck
1) I’m disappointed in myself for not listening to you guys about Phillip Lindsay. I could’ve had him for four years in my dynasty league, but I blew it
2) Last week I commented comparing Mahomes’ 4 TDs / 0 INT statline to Keenum’s 3 & 3 line. Well, I agreed with you that Mahomes would cool off and Keenum would pick it up. It’s only a week later, but through two weeks, Mahomes has thrown 10 TDs to 0 INTs while Keenum has 3 TDs to go with 4 INTs. Is it too soon to worry about Mahomes and what that means for years to come? Who do you think will be the better QB in 2018?

Love your pods. I’m frustrated because when Broncos hired VJ, they could have had Kyle Shanahan, they could have had Sean McVey, they HAD Wade Phillips — all top-notch proven football minds. The teams that hired these others have gone from bad to good. Instead, we hired a “project” coach and are trending in the other direction. I get that we’re 2-0, but these have been ugly wins against so-so teams and I’m not super confident about how the season is going to play out. Thoughts?
