You guys are the best broncos focused podcast period. Nothing else out there is close. You guys do an amazing job and I look forward to hearing you guys talk every day. Keep up the good work!

This is the power of BSN:
If I wasn’t a subscriber, nay, a “regular” of BSN, I would have been angry about our pick. I would have wanted a QB. But RK changed my thought process a couple of weeks ago when he compared adding Chubb to what San Diego has. Since then, I’ve been dreaming about picking him. I actually yelled with excitement when we got him. That, dear friends is the power of BSN. I will have to accept I am now the third most important Bradley in Broncos Country, with nods to Roby and Chubb.
Speaking of my importance, it’s time to start soliciting interest for the league! Bsnfightingburritos@gmail.com is now active if anyone wants to write in. Hope it’s ok I used BSN, I can change it. Bring on the names and let’s see how big of a league we will need! Winner gets a custom made one of a kind “Glennon is Trash” tshirt or something. Let’s do this.

You’re awesome for organizing this.

I’ll send an email later! Wish we could all get together in Denver someday to do a draft but that is going to be difficult. I am looking to being in Colorado in late July, so we shall see what is going on.

Hey guys,
Incredible coverage over the last few days and during the whole draft process. It’s been so great to be able to talk about the whole draft with my family and friends seeming like I knew way more than I should!!! Especially considering it’s tough enough to follow college players here In Ireland! It was great too bouncing off Zac on twitter during the whole process, thanks for taking the time Zac ?
Anyway, onto my question. There was big talk of the trade down if Chubb wasn’t there.
Taking off our broncos tinted glasses, who had a better first round? Broncos with Chubb or the team we could have traded with in the Bills who I think did really well with Allen (could have went Rosen) as well as Edmunds.

Hey barryoc, where are you located in Ireland?

I honestly think BSN Denver has some of the best sports coverage ANYWHERE. My girlfriend is a Jaguars fan and she was complaining that she couldn’t find any Jaguars podcasts covering the draft. You guys not only had a pre and post draft podcast but AJ and Andre had coverage during the draft and throughout the scouting process. On top of that, you had film rooms, discussions of the fit of each player, Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine coverage. This is something none of your subscribers take for granted.

Hello Ryan and Zac. New sub from the UK here. Used the code so hope this drives you to the win. Been listening to the podcast for months and finally felt guilty for all the free opinions and discussions I have been getting.
So with the draft in the books I wanted to know which vet do you think is most likely to get the TJ Ward treatment this year?
Thanks
Dave

Hey guys first off hats off to you for all the amazing coverage you all did during the draft. I woke up every morning in Dallas looking forward to reading what you guys thought of the selections.
Dallas was awesome, the draft was so cool running into Broncos fans and really every team’s fans and talking draft with them for 3 days was great. I saw Browns fans scream and curse at both their first round picks. Got to highfive my dad when we took Chubb. Saw a young saints fan cry when his team traded up and didn’t take Lamar Jackson (he told me prior to the start that’s who he wanted). Saw a mass exodus of Cowboys fans right after their pick(I’m sure a lot of them had to work the next day). All the emotion made for an amazing atmosphere.
As far as our draft goes we took what was given to us and for that you can’t give it a low grade. Im a little concerned still that we didn’t get much impact Oline help, and personally I’d have rather taken Guice in the second and got Gallup in the third but I can’t complain with he upside of Sutton and the character concerns that seemed to come out of nowhere for Guice. This may be the best I’ve felt about an Elway draft right afterward, since he’s been there. Keep up the good work and Go Broncos!

Just as everyone has said, GREAT coverage BSN staff! KUDOS to Ryan, Zac, Andre, AJ, Henry, and every other BSN crew who probably did so much work behind the scenes. There was so much information put together on the draft, that I really feel better about our draft. I AM disappointed in missing some preferable picks (Hernandez, Conner Williams, or Jones) but I do feel good about the picks the BRONCOS did pick up. I am so excited about next year. All the talk about how Elway wanted players who were going to help gel the team together was not only a feel good story, but really does make it seem Elway WILL fix this team and we are going to be a playoff team for years to come! In Elway We Trust!!!
RK and Zac, during the draft weekend, you said you watched “Draft Day”!!!!! So……after all the hassling we gave you, what are your thoughts on the movie?!?

Out of all the draft picks, if you could take one to the Doghaus and learn about them as a person and have a great conversation, who would you guys take? In this scenario, you would be picking up the tab since they probably don’t have that influx of money quite yet so keep that in mind when you’re buying them half the menu. Thanks for everything to the whole BSN crew, you guys truly make my investment worthwhile. P.S. I took advantage of the beer deal in Denver, thanks for continuing to add value where you don’t even have to and supporting other local Colorado companies!

Hey guys,
First off, just want to echo all the love and give you guys massive props for your coverage over draft week.
Quick question for you: Which player(s) from last year’s draft do you see as best poised to make a breakthrough this upcoming season and contribute more significantly to the team? In particular, I’m curious if you think Bolles will make a big jump, or if there are serious concerns about his potential as LT going forward. Thanks!

Loved all the draft work you guys did…it really made the lead up and evaluating results more entertaining for me. So thank you for that! It’s kind of bittersweet to say goodbye to the anticipation, although now the REAL fun starts…seeing theories turn into realities!
So I think we all came away pretty satisfied with the haul, especially considering the pressure on the FO after lackluster results of the last few years.
One post-draft exercise I always find beneficial is identifying where we stood during positional runs. As we all know from our fantasy drafts, you always want to be on the front end of positional runs, not on the back end. The guy on the back end panics and ends up reaching…usually leading to a bust. With that said, I’m tickled to see our results as it relates to positional runs by round. IMO this is the only way you can truly identify when a team drafts for need or stays true to their board.
Here’s a breakdown by round:
1st round: 5 DL’s drafted (we took the 1st)
2nd round: 6 WR’s drafted (we took the 1st)
3rd Round: 1 RB drafted (we took him).
3rd round: 2 CB’s drafted (we took the 2nd. But we had the second to last pick, yet still avoided a positional run)
4th round: 4 LB’s drafted (we took the 1st)
4th round: 5 WR’s drafted (we took the 3rd, but Callaway will likely be in jail in due time, so we essentially took #2)
5th round: 2 TE’s drafted (we took the 1st)
6th round: 6 OL’s drafted (we took the 1st)
6th round: 8 LB’s drafted (we took the 8th. But had the 2nd to last pick, so at this point we’re talking practice squad fodder)
7th round: 3 RB’s drafted (we took the 1st)
So in summary, we took the 1st player at his position with 7 of our 10 picks. We took the 2nd player at his position twice, and in the 6th round (pick 217), well, it didn’t really matter at that point.
Kudos to the Elway and the entire FO for staying true to their board. It feels like this was offseason was the most obvious tipping point the organization had seen in years, and we survived.
Now it’s time to thrive!
