I remember a certain other #30 making a big ST play during his rookie year… 🙂

This is something I thought of while reflecting on Lindsay’s usage. Do you think that Musgrave might have recognized the opportunity to mirror something he saw with Minnesota’s offense last year? Lindsay looked like a legitimate dual threat while Royce was able to pound the rock impressively on that last drive. The more I think about it, the more it reminded me of Latavius Murray and Jerrick McKinnon last year. Each of those guys had big games last year, but every game saw them both contribute. Keenum got a lot of help from that combo in the backfield last year, and it took a lot of pressure off him from having to do too much. What are your thoughts on that?

It’s almost October and the best time for sports fans and subsequently, BSN subscribers. You’ve got teams in football figuring out their identity, baseball playoffs and the World Series and the start of Hockey and Basketball. Looking forward to the coverage! And on the wild weekend, how do you not mention the Browns tieing the Steelers? Ryan and Zac are great writers and storytellers. What they are not, is good forecasters and predictors. Ryan, I can’t believe the homer in you didn’t predict Lindsay to score the first points of the season. Ryan correctly predicted Justin Simmons getting the first int and gets half a point for Chubb picking up a half sack with Darian Stewart. Zac, sadly did not get anything right. But there is still a chance in week 2 for rushing touchdowns and return touchdowns for you guys to redeem your predicting skills. Best of luck!

There are so many reasons Von should be defensive player of the week over Mack. Mack got all of his production against the Clevland Browns legendary QB Deshone Kizer. Kizer who practically walked over and handed Mack the ball. Compared to Miller who earned his stats against Wilson who is arguably the best mobile QB in the league. Not to mention the fact that Mack wore himself out in the first half and was completely ineffective in the second half when it mattered. By comparison, Von was a playmaker from start to finish including facilitating Harris Jr’s Sack on the final play of the game.

I digress.

It’s hate week in Broncos country. As such I will continue the tradition of mercilessly burning the Raiders and their fanbase.

The reason the Raiders don’t have a proper website is that they can’t string 3 W’s together. Derek Carr tried to tell that joke to his wide receivers but it just sailed over their heads…

I do have a question: After week 3 if we have managed to start 3-0 and continue to see improvement (touch wood) are you going to amend your predictions for the season?

Cmon guys I postet a question as a reply to my comment…
Here it is, also you almost answered it already. Just wanted to clear that up.
„So… Phillip Lindsay… wow.
I think we have to give Vance (and Bill Musgrave) some credit for his game management… keeping Freeman and Lindsay fresh was key in the end – how do you guys see his coaching performance? I would ask about the three Interceptions and if you guys are concerned but I guess you’ll talk about that anyway. Keep it up guys!“

Hey dudes! Such a small world as I heard you guys read out a comment from a guy who was from Perth Australia. I’m also from Perth so Jimmy if you’re keen to have a brewski and watch the broncos I’m down! Onto important matters but, how in the heck are we gonna Cover tight ends from here on out! We seem to have this issue every year and it was evident again week 1 as we got torched by a rookie who was mainly known for blocking! Let me know what your thoughts and who you thibk could suit the role.

Also wanna thank you guys, because of you, I have Phillip Lindsay in all three of my dynasty fantasy leagues and I reckon I’ve got an absolute weapon for years to come.

Keep up the good work #bleedorangeandblue

Hey guys. New subscriber from Greenville, North Carolina. I’ve covered the NFL before and currently handle the East Carolina beat for 247Sports. As a fellow journalist, I know how much dedication/time sports journalism takes up, especially in football season. Just wanted to say you guys do a fantastic job and I thoroughly enjoy the work. It’s always nice to follow the team I grew up watching and have the inside scoop from afar. You guys nailed the Phillip Lindsay and Case Keenum to Emmanuel Sanders connection angles before anyone else. Props for that. Anyways, I don’t really have a question. Just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work.

Hey Guys….Josh from Palo Alto here. Been a while since I last reached out. So my question is for the resident Phillip Lindsay expert. As a Stanford season ticket holder, I was lucky enough to get to watch Christian McCaffrey week in and week out. After a dominating 3 years at Stanford, he was eventually the #8 overall pick in the draft. When I watch Lindsay, he seems to possess a VERY similar skill set, they’re similar in size, and both were highly productive in college in both the run and pass game. Both have impeccable character.

So how does CMAC go #8 overall and Lindsay goes undrafted? Can you compare and contrast the two?

Hey guys, Skip in Boise, ID. first and foremost GO BUFFS! unreal win in Lincoln. Laviska is the Truth! on to the Broncos,
I was excited to see them run the ball effectively. The o line looked solid, still worried about the 2 deep there though. My question is more defensive, if von can have that kind of game against Russell Wilson, should we be worried about the health of the statuesque QB’s we will be playing down the road? Someone might want to call the local hospital and give them a heads!

What would you say are some of the keys to a win in this week 2 matchup? After watching Wade Philips do what he’s known for on Monday Night. I think the Broncos need an answer for Jared Cook but If we can shut down the raiders run game and protect the ball on offense we have a good chance. Thanks again for all the great coverage.
