I started listening to the podcast in the post season. First comment so I’m going to have to contribute to the important matters first.

Here In fairbanks we have a state of the art water treatment facility. One of the best in the world. Outside of the major cities most Alaska water is crap alot of it is toxic and undrinkable due to heavy mining activity and wildfire fighting chemicals. A lot of arsenic in the ground water. There is so much heavy metal in our soil most well water will stain everything orange.

Fairbanks has NO good options for Mexican food but we are the thai food capital of America! I have to drive 300 miles to get to a chipotle!

I guess I’ll comment on football too. I am not upset by the Flacco trade. Von and company carried us to a superbowl with a subpar version of Peyton Manning and Flacco has shown he can win with an elite D plus he finally has some legit weapons. However I’m still looking to the future. Elway’s comments about taking 3 years to develop a qb tells me hes looking for a project for Scangerello. What are your thoughts on Stidham or Rypien in the 3rd? The other thought out there is of course Josh Rosen. If hes available for a 2nd + is he worth looking into? Was he a guy Elway liked last year? I know one of the knocks on him was his arm strength and ability with the deep ball. Probably non starters for Scangerello’s offense?

Your opening ad makes me feel I should throw in a happy hello from alaskas cannabis industry. I work for Alaskas #1 concentrate manufacturer Good Titrations. About 15%of the staff are Broncos fans and our colors are broncos inspired blue and orange!

Welp, looks like the Combine gave us plenty to discuss:

Ben Burr-Kirven had exceptional production data and just blew up the combine. Does he fit what Fangio wants to do? He’ll be available day two while both Devins will probably be gone day 1.

How do you like Kaleb McGary as a tackle prospect? His combine performance was phenomenal. Does he seem like a good fit at IOL if tackle didn’t work out? Is he scheme agnostic, or more of a zone or power guy?

How do you feel about the following small-school EDGE prospects which flashed elite metrics at the combine, especially after Elway signaled more interest at the position?

Maxx Crosby, Eastern Michigan
Jamal Davis, Akron
Sutton Smith, Northern Illinois
Oshane Ximines, Old Dominion
John Cominsky, University of Charleston (more of a 4-3 guy)

Thanks, as always! Look forward to the pod every week.

How realistic could these 3 picks be for rd 1-3.
White, Bradberry, Stidham
White would be Fangios dream ILB to groom, Bradberry could replace Paradis (any chance he could fall this far?) or maybe play guard as well. Stidham – developmental prospect, ready in 1-2 yr.
– thanks Andy

I see a Colorado town (Eldorado Springs) was the top American tap water in the 2019 Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting contest in Virginia; apparently there’s an actual international contest for this? So, the Colorado-Tap-Water-Is-The-Best argument has been vindicated.

It seems a foregone conclusion at this point that we’re not getting a QB at/before 10 this year, but I was wondering if you guys think Kyler Murray not participating in drills at the Combine could have been due to him putting on weight for the weigh-in that slowed him down, and he couldn’t be both fast and heavy? (If that’s a trade-off he made, it sounds like he chose correctly!)

I just keep reminding myself that NE got Brady in the 6th round, and he panned out okay. We could do the same, right?

As I start to look into the prospects in this draft, I can’t stop watching Drue Tranquill and Tre Watson. What are your thoughts on these prospects in general, and specifically their fit with the Broncos?

First off I have to thank you for all the amazing work you do, your coverage and insight really is at another level! On to my question, when I watch Andy Isabella play I can’t help but be reminded of Brandon Stokley. The way Isabella runs looks very similar to Stokley, obviously Isabella is a bit faster but the form looks identical to me it’s uncanny. I always felt Stokley was a solid receiver as well so I think that’d be a relatively favorable comp for him. When do you think you would have to draft Isabella to get him? When is it to early and how do you see him fitting in with the Broncos system, outside or slot? What’s his value as a returner? I’d love to have an electric return game again with someone we can count on.

Much love,
Kartch
