Zac,
My mom loves your laugh. She has nicknamed you giggles and always asks me if Iām listening to giggles.
My Broncos love was planted when the Broncos played the Packers in the Super Bowl. It didnāt start to grow until my late teens and early 20ās. I think the team has the best logo in football and one of the best stadiums as well.
I buy the jersey shirts because I donāt have the budget to buy a jersey

You were talking about favorite fruit and Kiwi was mentioned It’s a decent tasting fruit but it’s real magic is in the fact that it’s a great sleep aid. I’m talking the best sleep I’ve ever had. If I’m really struggling with sleeping, I’ll eat two kiwi before I sleep the next night. It doesn’t knock you out like a prescription drug, but it gets you to sleep and it gives you a better quality of sleep. I’ve had times where I’ve eaten it, gone to sleep, woke up an hour and a half later thinking at least 4 hours had passed. Kiwi is the BOMB..
Btw, I eat it in slices WITH the skin!

Here in Hawaii, we have a Vietnamese restaurant called the Pho King (you gotta pronounce Pho the traditional Vietnamese way that Ryan hates). LOL!

Hey there Fellas,
Brian here from Los Angeles
So now that were officially into the off season time to give you my version of my long message.
1. I want to thank you for extending your subscription to military members. The Army may have destroyed my knees and back, but I got this subscription out of it so super worth it! My birthday is coming up so I’ll be sure to drop hints to my Fiancee to throw money at the BSN store.
2. In a short version, I became a bronco fan in a simple manner. Being a Mexican in southern California meant my entire extended family is all raider fans. As a 6 year old, I asked my father who are the raiders biggest rivals and he answered ” THE DENVER BRONCOS* so my loyalty was born out of pure hatred for the raiders š
4. First Jersey was a blue Davis, but my favorite Jerseys have to be my Plummer, Mike Anderson, Tom Nalen, and my Von miller Salute to Service. But my most shameful jersey was a lenny walls jersey. In my young eyes I thought that man was gonna be the next great corner.
5. I recently had lasik surgery and there was a mishap with the laser and I currently have pretty compromised vision out of my left eye. So doctors orders is to not stimulate my vision. Which means on top of my normal daily binge of the pod. I’ve been listening to older pod casts to pass the time, and just want to personally thank you two and your team in helping the days go by much easier. Especially with Zak’s cute laugh š
6. Any chance we see Mcgovern kick back out to guard and Risner play center?
(This message was written by the fiance on account of he cant look at screens)

Hey guys, coming in to stick up for shirtseys! At least what I think is shirtsey. Jerseys fit me awkwardly, so my all time favorite bronco T-shirt I owned was baseball t-shirt. It was blue and had gray sleeves, said broncos on the front and Tebow on the back with the number 15.
But as far as jerseys go, first jersey was an Elway jersey when I was a kid back in 96/97. Second was a TD Jersey(sadly moths ate the sleeves). My third was Bailey! I grabbed a Tebow jersey, but when I heard reports of manning coming I sold it to my buddy for 40$. I went a few years with out a jersey, found a sports store closing down. So thought this was my chance to get a John Lynch jersey(one of my favorite players) Sold out. I then settle for Paxton lynch….Thankfully Sold out. So I settle on a Miller jersey a size to large. Iām not much of a pack rat, and I realized Iād never wear the Miller jersey so I gave it to my dog. She now rocks it every Sunday. Which reminds me, my dog is half Husky, half Wolfāeā. So originally I really wanted a dog jersey that had Derekās number and last name on the back but couldnāt find one. Anyone have a link to something like this? Thanks again!

I called you out for your Keemun takes last year, so itās time to give you guys some credit. I was not pleased with your criticism of David Williams, a Razorback Alum. I couldnāt buy into a tiny PAC 12 running back being able to take a roster spot from a proven SEC player…..when I thought you were just being a homer, the reality was that I was in fact the homer.
The Broncos-Razorback connection are what made me a die hard fan today…it started with Steve Atwater and continued with Kennoy Kennedy. I guess Iāve been longing for that connection again…oh well maybe next year.
Phil is such an inspirational story, and I feel terrible for being one of the many doubters. He is now my favorite player, until the next great Razorback dawns the Orange and Blue. I even use him as an example for my 12 year old son on how to overcome adversity.
So good call!
PS: David Williams was a grad transfer from South Carolina…so technically not a full fledged Razorback haha

Hi Guys,
Been following Ryan on Twitter since his days at CU (really hoping for a revival of BSN Buffs someday). Started listening to the Broncos pod when I switched jobs about a year and a half ago and could wear headphones at my desk and pulled the trigger on subscribing shortly after that for all the draft coverage.
Anyways, just wanted to chime in and say thanks to you guys for the work you put in to bring so much great content daily and for making the pod so fun to listen to.
Also, I think the opposite of shooting hoops with a medicine ball would be dunking on a nerf hoop.

Hey fellas,
My now ex-girlfriend bought me a subscription to BSN as a Valentines day present (Tear) and I’ve been listening and reading your articles on my ruck sack walks ever since. Helps to keep my mind off being tired. Good things…
Glad Fangio gave the team the day off yesterday. I think he is making all the right moves so far, but of course we won’t know till the season.
My thoughts on the Chubb praise and Miller “He could be better” comments is that Fangio is a genius motivator! I love #58 like the rest of us, but what better way to motivate him to new heights than to shine the light on his counterpart? Chubb gains momentum and confidence (not that he really needs it) and Miller up’s his game to let everybody know he’s still the man. I’m going +32 sacks between the two of them, +50 for the team. What do you guys think?
Lastly, I think you guys should give “Gum Balls” more credit; the guy improved a lot in the last 6-7 games last year and now with Munchak coaching him up I think he’ll be solid. Not gonna say Pro Bowl solid just yet, but…solid.
Keep up the good work!

Just posting to point that Ryan nailed the pronnounce of AƧaĆ.
What’s going on on special teams? Any News on returner spots and gunners?
Regards from a Brazilian Fan.

Reading and listening to all the talk about Chubb having a career year and being ātailor madeā for the defense has me getting insanely optimistic about the defense this year. Am I crazy to entertain the idea that both Miller and Chubb could have career years? Wasnāt the 18 sack season for Von his career high? Would it be that crazy for both sack masters to get close to 18 sacks a piece? The defense would almost certainly lead the league in sacks if that happened. The more I type the more Iām starting to think Iām being a little crazy but itās a beautiful dream.
On the flip side of that coin, not knowing if the offensive line is going to be improving this year is the slightest bit concerning. On that front, I was interested to find out if the media gets time to speak with any assistant coaches? If so, has Mike Munchak revealed any of his thoughts on the line or his expectations? Just a curious thought.
Thanks for the great coverage guys and canāt wait for training camp!

Hey guys. First time / Long time.
To start, I need to weigh in on a couple BSN discussions. My first Broncos jersey was Mario Haggan, a linebacker who played for Mississippi State when I was attending college there. I grew up in Colorado, but ended up in Mississippi for the end of high school and all of college, and Iām diehard about both Denver sports and all things Mississippi State. Iāve since added Tebow, Manning, Von, Elway, and TD to the jersey lineup. My wife rocks a Champ jersey, and my boys have Manning and DT jerseys. Weāre all due for some upgrades this year.
I discovered BSN via Twitter, and now I listen to the pod everyday. I love Nashville (where I currently live), but miss Colorado. The daily podcast helps me stay connected to the state and the team I love.
BTW. Team Pho.
Quick question: Who are the 12 teams you guys expect to make the playoffs this year?
Thanks!
Free Lindsay
I have never ate a peach, kiwi, hot pocket or a pie that wasnāt pumpkin, and I donāt plan on it anytime soon
My question is if you could pick any player to ever wear a broncos uniform and have them play rookie season to final game on our current roster who would it be?
I would have to go with rod smith because he was a stud and would help Sutton tremendously, while giving drew lock a solidified weapon in the future , also my aunt is his baby momma, slight flex
Bonus points for not picking a QB

Hey guys itās been a while…
Work is just so time consuming these days I am glad to have you guys keeping me informed each and every day.
I didnāt even manage to record with Andre for our german football podcast like we planned at the beginning of the offseason. Please say hello to him for me and I hope we can get him on soon.
This btw is a great example how engaged and awesome all of you guys are in regards to the community, by helping out whenever you can, like Ryan did a year ago.
Hereās my question:
How do you guys view the team dynamics this offseason?
I really liked the Fangio move with the field day. From what I saw on social media, it seemed to be great bonding opportunity for the team.
Is it more like they normally stick to their position groups or do all players interact with each other?
How has it been in the past?
If you still have some time hereās my story how I became a Broncos fan and found BSN.
In 2011 I was primarily watching the NBA and the only off field content I consumed was first take, I know shame on me…
They were always talking about a certain guy named Tebow and thatās how Tebow Mania hit me. I followed the hype around this guy with Wikipedia on my laptop at 3 oāclock at night trying to understand the beautiful game of football.
From this point on, I got even less sleep, showing up to class even more tired, while watching every broncos game I could. The thing that stuck with me in the end was the team. I really liked the rich history and the ownership approach of Mr Bowlen which seemed somewhat different from what you get to hear about NFL owners here overseas (more like a big family).
A few years later I started to get into podcasts (huge improvement on off field content I guess) especially because we got a new dog and I spend hours walking with him listening. One of my first discoveries was your show, at this time with Brandon and Ryan as hosts. I have to say, with Zac joining the team the pod got even better especially entertainment wise.
So here I am still enjoying the content every day!!!
Keep it up and much love to the community

Was listening to Tyler Polumbus on the radio the other day- he mentioned something about the pass rush depth. He said after Von and Chubb, the drop off is concerning. He specifically called out Jeff Holland- who was someone that I was pretty excited for, but he said he looked physically outmatched. Any thoughts on this?
Also, if y’all ever decided to make T-shirts with ‘Big Vic Energy’ in huge letters and Fangio’s face on the front, I would snap that up in a heartbeat š
OoO Benny Lava
LOL Big Vic Energy…thats fantastic.
Or maybe a shirt with “Drew Lock has a horse C!*#” haha yeah that ones probably too adult oriented

Hey guys new subscriber. Live in Virginia but grew up in Golden. Started going to bronco games when mile high was bears stadium. Watched the expansion over the years. I remember the very first Broncos home Monday night game. A memorable 23-23 tie with the raiders. I hate the raiders.
Comment- loved the draft this year, but unlike you guys have a wait and see on drew lock. He was the 4th about taken for a reason. I like that they are taking it slow with him. Biggest concern is the o-line. The GB experiment is almost over, if he canāt take coaching he needs to go.
I think the division is wide open, KC will take a big step back, their D stinks. I agree with Ryan I expect Rivers to fall off the cliff. I think the raiders -(ugh) will be better. But their o line may be worse than ours
Two recommendations for you blue sky cafe in golden for breakfast, amazing, and if you are ever out to the northern neck of Virginia where I live the rappahanock oyster company at the mouth of the rappahanock river and Chesapeake bay, best oysters ever!
Love the pod, keep it up
Cristiano Stehling
Hi, My name is Cristiano Stehling and is my First time comment,
I’m from Brazil and I was a Rotary exchange student. I spent a year living in Denver in 1994 studying in Manual High school . That’s wen i began loving the Broncos. I had the privilege to see Elway live before he won the SB. I watched two games in the old Mile High stadium and one of them was the one we lost for the Chiefs. Even today a can close my eyes and fell and hearin that crowded stadium calling Go broncos end Defense. My first jerseys was Julius Thomas 80 and a wes welker 83 in sale because here In Brazil the cost of a jersey is almost 8x more expensive due the value of USD and import taxes double the cost. One of may favorite burger place was the Good times burger just in the corner of were i was living. I listen to the podcast every day and enjoy it very much. I watch every single game in the NFL game pass. The last three seasons was not what i expected but i keep the hopes up. keep the good work.

Man, there’s so many new names in the comment section these days. It’s so cool to see how much BSN is taking off, especially in this “downtime offseason” Just wanted to reach out and welcome all the new peeps to the BSN fam. You’ve just become a part of the most positive online forum that has ever existed.
Here’s my question:
Did you guys see that the sauce boss Matt Lacosse is slotted in right now as the starting TE for the patriots? What’s yer take on that? If he turns out to be another Patriot diamond in the rough I’m going to freak the F out. I always liked the guy and could totally see him thriving if he puts on a little more weight and gets a comfort level with the Pats offense…but omg that would just be so devastating for football fans everywhere.
much love y’all
#seriously though, how can a straw have no holes???
