It looks like the Chiefs heard your podcast and just decided that 4th down was no big deal and to just go for it. Those 2 fourth down conversions were a kick in the balls. The Broncos also had a ton of momentum until, once again, Keenum throws a pick and sends the defense out there with no rest. Tell me that interception was Heuerman’s fault all you want, but if the pass was on target that wouldn’t have happened. Also, how in the hell was Heuerman the teams leading receiver?! Maybe if the Broncos had run the ball more than 22 times I could see it but come on. Another coaching faux pas was only running the ball 40% of the plays when YOU HAD THE LEAD most of the game. 7.2 rushing yard average but we’re going to keep forcing the pass. Even taking Emanual’s 18 yard run out they averaged 6.7ypc. Come on man.

Agree that the delay of game was missed by the refs, but there were other mistakes that led to this loss. That three and out with 6 or 7 minutes left was costly. Of course, if Case had hit DT on that pass play, we wouldn’t be talking about the missed delay of game. On that pass play, did Case overthrow him or did DT jog down the field? I have heard both comments but would have to see the play again to make that call. Regardless, I blame the coaches for this loss. Mahomes is proving to be a dangerous QB, so why abandon the run that had been successful all night and could eat up clock? Why is Booker in there at the end of the game? He is the least effective RB we have and he is in there when we are trying to come back and win the game! Also, some of the defensive coverage calls towards the end of the game were questionable. Even the broadcasters commented on the coverage. I think until we get a good coaching staff and an effective QB this team will be mediocre. I hope I am wrong because the Broncos really have some talented players and it’s a shame to waste their potential because of bad coaching.

Booker was in because he is the best pass blocker they have and is pretty good at catching the ball out of the backfield, but him being in pretty much tips their hand that they’re running a pass play.
