Well said. I missed the play at first. Was shown later after having it described many times thinking “it couldn’t have looked THAT bad right?” Or “Teddy wasn’t close enough to really risk his body for no reason right?” And it turns out my friends and father were 1000% right and the answers to those questions were not just clear but overwhelmingly embarrassingly clear and after his let’s not call it “elite” qb play but elite compared to Mannings final game. Teddy just might have ruined every single one of D-line’s “Teddy Strut” t-shirts as I can only imagine fans looking for things to burn ? like ehh, but it’s Erics….Heh but it’s Teddy. I love you Eric and DNVR but that shirt is now a constant reminder of how he could’ve strutted himself over to do “SOMETHING!” but mightve ended up strutting into some of our trash cans ?.

And like many diehard Bronco fans…I mightve been blind but I honestly thought we had a shot at 10-11 wins this year. And with some neat surprises within reach. I heard all about how we were not just talented everywhere but soooo deep at nearly every position we were cutting guys that would start day one elsewhere and had the Defense to win a title if the Offense could be steady with Teddy and talented enough around him to put up enough and more to secure more victories than losses in a town dying for some victory in that sport. And a town since Manning left is dying for a title again. I just wonder if we are truly trying upstairs or if we are trying to just stay out of our own way or what but I am a Nuggets and Avs fan from here on out until the Broncos show me more heart than paying von Miller to go away so he could win a title and thanking him for his “service”. I expect more from you Denver. God I miss Pat. ?

Denver?…

We. Deserve. More….

I think of how often punters and kickers try, usually in vain, to stop returners. Sometimes they get flattened. Sometimes they just get blown away by speed. And sometimes they make great tackles. But they try. And kickers are barely football players.

I remember the Manning play. I had my son who was ten at the time that play and helped him to see “you do all you can for your teammates.” It’s why players would walk across glass for him even that last season when he looked 101.

I really like Teddy but…the team now knows he won’t do whatever it takes to win. If they don’t score, if we get a 3 and out, another chance to tie the game is right there. Instead, it was time to turn the game off. I just don’t know how you get players to push through the aches and pains all of them feel to do that one extra thing to win a game. I really like Teddy but he just helped Paton and the rest it’s time to find “the man,” no matter if he’s in the draft or a flake who think homeopathy is good medicine.
