The Broncos lost Ware just 23 snaps into a 16-10 win Sunday, a game that was won by the defense. The 33-year old went down in the first quarter and had to be carted off the field of O.co Coliseum. “We have a lot of guys who can make plays.” Ware said in an interview after the win in Oakland.
The depth of the Broncos defense will help the situation. Defensive end Derek Wolfe is back from suspension and linebacker Shane Ray is starting to come out of his rookie shell. Denver has their bye week after traveling to Cleveland to let the entire team recover and prepare for a Sunday night showdown against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers at Sports Authority Field.
