If Kubiak believes Trevor is still improving each game then the fact that he is 7-2 at this point is as convincing evidence as Dak in Dallas at 8-1 (7-0 starting). One has to recognize that Trevors intangible Montana like way of playing best in the biggest moments is just as if not more important than a more physically gifted player behind the greatest O Line in football and stocked with both passing & rushing stars.
The BRONCOS are going to live & die with an overburdened defense that may or may not get OFFENSIVE help on any given weekend. The positive from New Orleans was a special team & defense that was able to play lights out because despite not putting up points the OFFENSE killed it in the TOP department. When you limit the opposing team to 50 total plays & 23 minutes of possession in a 60 minute game…then your defense & special teams can deliver for you…and that is what made the difference. If the Offense could come through with even NFL League average play for EVERY quarter then this team would be scary…It would be great to witness that prior to the playoffs. Somehow having sunk to 3-3 over the last 6 games we still hold our own destiny in our hands…simply put if we win we get 1st seed if not we will struggle to not have to play 4 road games to win SB. All things considered being on a bye in week 10 with only 3 players out for season CJ, Brenner & Walker. The rest of the players rested and a new TE who is already contributing, new rbs that just got 100+ yards in a game and a new OL player for depth..things could be a lot worse.
