With a single play, running back Kapri Bibbs became Denver’s leading receiver in one of the ugliest Broncos losses in recent memory.
Bibbs, a product of Colorado State, eluded the entire Raiders defense on his way to the first touchdown of his career. No. 35 was the recipient of a screen pass from Trevor Siemian and, with a little blocking help, ran all over the gridiron for the 69-yard score, one of only two touchdowns on the evening for the Orange & Blue.
“He deserves a shot. Kid’s been working his tail off,” head coach Gary Kubiak said after the loss. “[He’s] doing some good stuff. We want to give him opportunities.”
