Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas helped welcome in the San Diego Chargers by having his best game in over a month.

Thomas, who ended the contest with five receptions for 79 yards, hauled in a 40-yard pass from Trevor Siemian—with a defender all over him—late in the fourth quarter to set up a Brandon McManus field goal that would put the Orange & Blue up by eight.

“I told myself, ‘Next time you get a chance, make a play’. That’s what I did,” Thomas said after the win.
