Even in garbage time, you’ll never forget your first touchdown.
Second-year tight end Jeff Heuerman caught his first NFL touchdown from quarterback Trevor Siemian late in the fourth quarter in a loss on his 13th career reception Sunday evening on a 13-yard dart. The catch was only his second of the night and fourth of the season.
“[QB Trevor] Trev [Siemian] threw a great ball. It wasn’t a hard catch, he threw it right in there and that was it.”
In a week with not much to chose from, Heuerman’s big moment is our play of the week.
