The way our secondary is trending, I’m getting a sick feeling about KC next week. Like getting pummeled. Do you think the Broncos are starting to think about trading for a corner? If so, what would be the trade bait?

I’ve heard some talk of a trade for Patrick Peterson, which would be awesome, but how plausible do you think that is?

Also, wouldn’t it be better for Joseph to call out the officials and get some ‘us against them’ team spirit going on there.

Finally, Keenum is starting to remind me a bit of Tyrod Taylor in terms of hopes vs. reality. Not suggesting it yet, but at what point might Denver turn to its number 6?

Noreik! Here we go:

1) It would be highly unlikely Denver could pull off a trade for Patrick Peterson. The idea is nice! But not likely.

2) Personally, I liked that Joseph took ownership of the penalties and put it on his guys. I think doing it the other way would have seemed like excuses and letting his team off the hook.

3) As fun as it would be to see No. 6 play (I would love it!), it’s going to be a while, if it even happens this year. Things have to be REALLY off the rails. I think the only way Chad plays sooner than later is if Case spirals down, but the Broncos remain competitive despite it. But when a QB plays awful, it’s hard for teams to stay in it.
