I’m with Roby in this one, Witten at this point needs to quit on his announcing career! He’s not good

These guys give their bodies July-now. I personally don’t think too much about this. For us to sit here and say we give 100% every minute of every day of work is outrageous.

Witten may not be a good announcer, but I think he’s probably a bit more qualified to comment on that effort – or lack thereof – than those of us working desk jobs.

Sure, no one gives 100% at our “jobs” all the time, but that’s pretty much apples to turnips. These guys work year round for those 60-minute games. To give such a pathetic effort towards the end of an abysmal season, when Roby needed a good one, is an embarrassment. Comparing those of us sending TPS reports to a starting NFL CB is hardly applicable.

I highly doubt we’d see that garbage from CHJ. I’m very ready to move on from the Bradley Roby experience.

Witten has some good points. Roby clearly is bothered by it and knows he’s right. Just get back to the grind, why be petty and tweet about it? I have a hate/love relationship with this era of social media and the NFL intertwined.

Pretty much the same amount of effort Aqib Talib showed in the Kansas City game when he was jogging after Hunt or Hill on their way to the endzone. I don’t recall the same criticism for Talib. Of course, Talib is/was a regular Pro-Bowler and Roby isn’t.
