CENTENNIAL – While calling it a “mistake that was addressed”, Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph said no formal or further punishment would be forthcoming for safety Will Parks, who is also facing potential sanctions from the NFL for recent a domestic violence arrest.

“I think what ‘Parksie’ did was innocent enough, that he was trying to showcase how hard he was working,” said Joseph, referring to a Parks Snapchat post in which it appeared he was mocking the passes of Paxton Lynch. “But he can’t do it. Because, what we do here is personal and private. This is a workplace. We can’t share what we do.”

Parks, 22, a second-year player, said he “didn’t mean anything” by the post, and that he and Lynch addressed the situation together and remain on good terms.

Parks faces the more potentially serious situation of the domestic charge against him. The NFL currently is investigating the matter and a suspension is possible. Parks said he is confident of exoneration.
