P.J. Locke announced this week that he underwent spinal surgery after the 2024 season. The surgery fused the fourth and fifth vertebrae in P.J. Locke’s back, which will prevent them from colliding after the disc separating the vertebrae degenerated.
While Detroit Lions defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike returned to the NFL from a spinal fusion surgery, P.J. Locke is still fighting his way back to the field. P.J. Locke was in attendance during Denver Broncos minicamp, but he didn’t participate in team drills.
The DNVR Broncos crew looks back at the Denver Broncos’ offseason moves given the update on P.J. Locke’s status. Would the Denver Broncos have signed Talanoa Hufanga if P.J. Locke was healthy? Does the addition of Sam Franklin make more sense with P.J. Locke’s status in doubt?
Plus, the DNVR Broncos crew breaks down the Week 12 matchup with the Washington Commanders. How big is the gap between Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix? Should Pat Surtain II follow Terry McLaurin? Can the Denver Broncos pull off the upset on Sunday Night Football?
On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Zac Stevens, Ryan Koenigsberg and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.
