Broncos Pick 'Em: How many points does Denver have to score against the Raiders to ease your concerns about the offense?

Three weeks into the NFL season, the Denver Broncos have scored the second-fewest points in the league.

Denver’s new offense, led by Nathaniel Hackett and Russell Wilson, hasn’t clicked yet as they are averaging under 14 points per game.

What do the Broncos need to do against the Raiders on Sunday to show enough life to ease your concerns?

How many points do the Broncos need to score on Sunday to ease your concerns?

Zac: 24 — Despite a season-high of only 16 points, I need to see, and expect, the Broncos to get to at least 24 points against the winless Raiders.

Las Vegas not only has a bottom-10 defense, giving up over 25 points per game, but they have allowed at least 24 points in all three of their games. There’s no reason Denver shouldn’t be able to drop 24 points on the Raiders if the struggling Tennessee Titans were able to.

It’s fair and understandable that the Broncos’ completely revamped offense has taken a while to click and fully come together. But nearly a month into the season is when it should start coming to life. There’s no better time than against the Raiders and Josh McDaniels.

RK: Enough — There is only one number that matters and it’s the one in the win column. This isn’t what anyone wants to hear right now but it’s the truth. Every time you win, you unlock more time to sharpen things up without needing to panic.

I believe in the quarterback, I believe in the weapons, I believe in the scheme, I beleive in the playcaller.

If the Broncos score enough points to win this week, they’re 3-1 and at the very least tied for first place in the AFC West and even if they win 11-10 again my concerns will be eased (not eliminated) simply because of the fact that they will have shown a strong ability to win games even when the offense sturggles.

I’ll be saying “If the offense ever figures this out, watch out.”

Hank: 30 — Drop 30 on the Raiders and I’ll be done worrying about the offense.

That’s not to say 24 would be a bad day—24 would be a really solid performance—but I’d still have questions going forward. To really feel good about how the offense is playing, I need a big performance. A good day wouldn’t wash away a few bad weeks, but a great one definitely would.
