The Denver Broncos get to the passer, it’s just what they do. It seemingly doesn’t matter who Wade Phillips plugs into his league-best system, they all just make plays.
On Thursday night, Dwayne Norman, an undrafted free agent out of Duke was able to spread the offensive line of the Arizona Cardinals, follow the lead of Darius Kilgo—whol looked like a fullback opening a hole for C.J. Anderson—and get to quarterback Matt Barkley, forcing the strip which was recovered by fellow Bronco Zaire Anderson.
For many players, the preseason is an audition for 31 other teams and for Norman—who didn’t make the Broncos—hey may have just caught somebody else’s eye around the league.
