Former Denver Broncos and current Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler entered Sunday’s game with 18 career interceptions thrown that were returned for touchdowns; safety Justin Simmons made it 19. Midway through the third quarter, Simmons was able to pick off the 11-year veteran and returned the ball 63 yards for Denver’s only touchdown of the afternoon, capped off with the Mile High Salute.

The pick was Simmons’ second of the season and fourth in his career. Not only was the play impressive, it was the longest return of Simmons’ career and the first overall touchdown for former Boston College Eagle.
