Broncos' defensive play of the week: Shaq attack

The old saying goes “it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.” Well, in the case of the Denver Broncos, it was quite the opposite.

Broncos’ outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett recorded his second sack of the season midway through the first quarter in the 23-10 loss Sunday evening to delay the early drive of Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The drive ended in a field goal to put the boys in blue up 3-0, a lead they would not give up.

The sack was the ninth career takedown for the former CSU Ram.
