The Denver Broncos made two roster moves on Tuesday. The team was awarded FB Tobin Opurum off of waivers from the New Orleans Saints.
Opurum entered the NFL as a college free agent in 2013 with the Chiefs and spent parts of the next three seasons on the Chiefs (2013), Texans (2014) and Saints (2014-15) practice squads before appearing in three games with the Saints in 2015. At the University of Kansas, Oporum played running back as a true freshman and then his last three season as a linebacker for the Jayhawks.
To make room on the roster for Opurum the Broncos waived TE Anthony Norris who was just signed as an undrafted free agent.
Opurum will likely compete in camp with FB Andy Janovich who the team drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
