Broncos' Aqib Talib reportedly shot at Dallas strip club

As originally reported by Rebeca Lopez of WFAA-TV in Dallas, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was one of two shot early this morning in Dallas strip club, V Live.

Talib is in stable condition after taking a bullet to the leg, reports suggest he has already been released from Medical City Hospital.

The pro-bowl corner is from Cleveland but moved to the Dallas area in eighth grade, he and his brother were allegedly involved in an altercation at a different Dallas nightclub last year in which someone reportedly fired a gun into the air to break up the situation.

The Broncos have yet to release anything on the situation but we will update here as soon as that or any other information becomes available.

**Update 3:10 PM**

Mike Klis reports Talib suffered a “minor leg injury” from the gunshot and has been in contact with the Broncos, who are still gathering information.

**Update 3:25 PM**

Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth released this statement on twitter:

“We’ve spoken with Aqib Talib, who is being treated at a Dallas hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg. He’s OK & we’re gathering more info.”

**Update 3:45 PM**

Talib has been released from the emergency room but is still in the hospital, there is hope that he will be fully released soon.

**Update 5:36 PM**

The Broncos have released a statement on the situation:

“We are in communication with Aqib Talib, who remains at a Dallas hospital for observation as he recovers from a gunshot wound suffered to his lower right leg on Sunday. He is expected to be released from the hospital soon, and we are glad he is OK and will make a full recovery.

“Our organization has been in touch with the NFL on this matter, and we will provide additional updates as appropriate.”

**Update 7:50 PM**

Troy Renck of the Denver post is reporting that Talib’s gunshot wound did not require surgery.
