ENGLEWOOD, Co. – The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms on a four-year extension with inside linebacker Brandon Marshall, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

“We’re thrilled to agree to terms with Brandon on a four-year extension,” Broncos vice president of football operations/general manager John Elway said in a release from the team. “Brandon’s become an integral part of our defense over the last three years and has put in a lot of hard work into becoming such a key player on our team. We congratulate Brandon and look forward to him being a Bronco for many more years.”

BSN Denver has confirmed the details of the deal include four-years, $32 million with $20 million guaranteed and a $10 million signing bonus.

Marshall has played 1,783 snaps over the last two seasons, which is more than any front-seven player for Broncos in that time. Both years, he tallied more than 100 tackles.

Cut by the Jaguars early in his career, the once fifth-round pick out of Nevada has earned every bit of his keep on the NFL. Originally signed to the Broncos practice squad in 2013, Marshall got his opportunity on the 53-man roster when Von Miller was put on injured reserve. Since that opportunity, “BMarsh” has done nothing but capitalize on his opportunities all the way to being a key cog on one of the greatest defenses of all time.

The Super Bowl champion has also been a champion off of the field, named a 2015 Broncos Community Ambassador award winner on top of being named the 2015 Darrent Williams Good Guy Award winner, given annually to the Bronco who best exemplifies Williams’ enthusiasm, cooperation and honesty while dealing with members of the press.

Chosen by his teammates as the Ed Block Courage Award winner last season as he came off of foot surgery to have a stellar season, you won’t find a single person in the Broncos facility who isn’t happy for Brandon Marshall.
