For the first time in three years, the Denver Broncos have a first-round pick in the NFL Draft.
The last time Denver had a first-round pick, they drafted Pat Surtain II. Less than three years later, Surtain has established himself as one of the best players in the NFL.
That’s exactly the caliber of player Sean Payton and George Paton hope to land in the first round this year.
Entering the draft, the Broncos not only have the 12th-overall pick, but they also have eight picks.
