Great news, beer lovers!
Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium can now sell full-strength and even craft beer at football games.
On Wednesday, the Larimer County Commissioner okayed the decision which will change the game of beer sales at football games for Colorado State Rams fans.
Up until now, fans could purchase beer inside the gates of Hughes Stadium until the end of halftime, when sales were cut off.
Now, football fans will be able to fill their bellies with the best beer the world has to offer according to CBS Denver. Let’s hope Colorado State can find a way to partner with Odell Brewing Company, who brews the best beer in all of Colorado, maybe in the entire United States. Fans on the suite level can also purchase wine and spirits, but only those with premium seating can access anything other than beer.
Still, this is awesome if you like to enjoy beer while watching football.
And this superb suds news follows closely on the heels of Colorado State Rams football announcing their 2017 non-conference schedule. Abilene Christian will christen the new on-campus stadium that fall, with Oregon State also coming to town.
