DENVER, Colo.— Braylin Scott is no longer a member of Colorado State football—head coach Mike Bobo confirmed with BSN Rams at the Blake Street Tavern on Thursday that the 21-year-old from Bakersfield, California has been ruled academically ineligible.
“Braylinn Scott is no longer with the team,” Bobo said.
Scott, originally a safety, led the Rams in interceptions (3) as a sophomore in 2016. In 2017, Scott redshirted after a legal issue caused him to be away from the team. And in 2018, Scott played in all 12 games, starting six for the Rams in the secondary.
This summer, the coaching staff experimented with moving Scott to wide receiver, a position that he played in high school. However, the move was shortlived as Scott is no longer with the Rams.
