Logan is in the final year of his contract and has appeared in 18 games this year. He has a 1.93 ERA with an even 1 WHIP in 14 innings of action. His 17 strikeouts have mostly come as LOOGY (left-handed one out guy) and his reinstatement gives Walt Weiss more options.
Castro has thrown six innings since coming of the DL in late May, he has allowed four earned runs in that time with opponents hit .320 off of him. Before his DL trip Castro had really started to blossom. For now, the 21-year-old will have to continue to develop in Triple-A.
