DU’s hockey team is also scheduled to play an outdoor game at Coors Field against in-state rival, Colorado College on February 20th, the week before the Colorado Avalanche’s Stadium Series game against the Detroit Red Wings. The match-up is being creatively called “The Battle on Blake.” Paulsen’s appearance at Magness Arena, the home of the Pioneers, is a cross-promotion for both Rockies Fest and The Battle on Blake.
The game between DU and UMD tonight will be broadcast on Root Sports Rocky Mountain and Paulsen is scheduled to appear on the air during the 2nd period of the game between the National Collegiate Hockey Conference foes.
Paulsen was spotted at last night’s Nuggets game with Rockies teammates DJ LeMahieu, Corey Dickerson, and Charlie Blackmon, who hit a half-court shot at halftime. The players are back in town this week to promote and attend Rockies Fest.
Tickets to tonight’s DU-UMD game can be found on DU’s athletics website and tickets to Rockies Fest can be found on the Rockies website.
