DENVER – Friday marks the first of many baseball games in 2017 in Lower Downtown. The Colorado Rockies begin play at Coors Field in park’s 23rd season against the Los Angeles Dodges.

First pitch is slated for 2:10 and the weather is supposed to be tremendous. A high of 73 under partly cloudy skies is the forecast. It should 72 with 9 mph winds out of the southwest at first pitch and AccuWeather says it should feel like 77.

Most will be out in Denver early on in the morning to take part in the festivities and you’re going to need a light jacket. It won’t warm up till above 60 until around 10:30. With the 2:10 start, fortunately, it shouldn’t cool down until much after the game is over.

Kyle Freeland will get the ball for the Rockies in his MLB Debut and Hyun-Jin Ryu for L.A. as the Denver baseball season kicks off.
