Avs morning skate notebook: More lineup changes

Hello from the Pepsi Center, where DuchenePalooza happens tonight.

My twitter poll, on whether Duchene should get a video tribute or not, came back 53 percent for, and 47 against, out of about 2,500 votes. I think he’ll get one, from what I’m hearing.

About the Avs’ lineup for tonight. There is another change:

Marko Dano moves up in the lineup. He’ll play wing on a line with Sven Andrighetto and Alexander Kerfoot. Colin Wilson gets demoted, to a line centered by Vladislav Kamenev, with Tyson Jost at left wing and Wilson on the right.

Gabriel Bourque will be a healthy scratch.

Interesting move by Jared Bednar, giving Dano a shot up top like that. We’ll see how he does.

I asked Bednar if there was anything “hopeful” to report about J.T. Compher’s status, and the answer was a shake of the head, no. Maybe he thought I was just asking if there was something “new”, but at this point, it doesn’t seem to be encouraging with J.T. Concussions are the worst.

So, these are the new lines for the game tonight:

Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen

Andrighetto-Kerfoot-Dano

Nieto-Soderberg-Calvert

Jost-Kamenev-Wilson

D

Girard-Johnson

Cole-Barrie

Zadorov-Nemeth

Grubauer in goal.
