Erikson-Ek seems to be banged up a lot. If I was a coach or GM in the NHL I’d put together a video of MacKinnon and Makar and even Burns dodging forecheckers and forgoing big hits then put up the availability charts for good measure. Make every hit or play every game. Your choice.

Since Cale got back in the lineup it looks like he’s anticipated this matchup. The national media are obsessed with the narrative that Hughes is the best D-man and I think Cale begs to differ and is about to offer up a demo.

Avs in 6 because they flat refuse to close out a series at home
