Thank the Lord CMac isn’t will to take on that ridiculous Kadri contract. 40% retention at a minimum. Sad to hear about Drury, was hoping we could lock him up long term as our set and forget 4C. The Mercer deal for Colton would be a huge upgrade for the third line, so wound McMann and Roy/Lawton. Lots to watch

It’s bad enough seeing Compher wear a Detroit uniform and it would feel even worse seeing Val wear one.
It’s hard for me to understand the deadline love for Laughton. If you need a C from Toronto get Roy. MacKinnon, Nelson, Kadri, Roy would be the best center depth in the league for this season and next before Nelson and Kadri start showing the mileage.

Not married to Roy…Laughton would be fine, ERod, Jenner etc . Just not Kadri unless max retention. If the Avs pay full freight, it would effectively shorten our window from the duration of Nelson’s contract to this year only.
