AJ, good article, yeah, the one highlight on NHL.com with Jost trying to go five hole on a mini breakaway down the slot looked so dangerous and soooo close to going in. Maybe he needs to talk to nuke about how to get the monkey off his back. I still think it is way to early to give up on Jost. I like where the avs are and I think they are still growing and maturing to a more dangerous and consistent team. Looking forward to the second half of the season!

Jost doesn’t want to be the inactive when Donskoi comes back. He knows coach has been giving a longer look at Kamenev. Good motivational exercise by coach B.

I’ve been high on Jost for a long time and have been waiting for him to become the player I thought he could. I’m still kind’ve waiting, but you’re right about today, AJ, he was great. I’m not sure what it will take to teach him how to finish, though.

Three goals by the Red Wings still makes me wonder about our defense. We have not been really good at shutting down teams especially in the third period. Let’s hope this improves in the second half of the season or we would definitely won’t make it far into the playoffs.

Jost has dramatically improved every year. That’s all you can ask. He’s only 21. He’s going to be real good I think

He will be hard pressed to beat last year’s numbers…there are some things I like about his game but he was by necessity rushed to the NHL…he would have benefitted from at least 1 full year in the AHL as Rantanen did.

You guys, I’m just not sure Jimmy Howard is going to win the Calder this year.
