Seriously, AJ, the Major League reference being spot on made me laugh out loud. Well done, well done!

Someone must be cutting onions… those EJ quotes have me with misties.

Best article yet AJ!

Also so happy for EJ, the Avs, and another great write up AJ! Been a fan of the Avs since day one, and your input since the original MHH. I’m on cloud nine! GO AVS! The future is so so bright right now!!!

What a game…the Avs season in a nutshell. But indeed, this seems to be the first season in many, many years where an Avs team that struggled mightily actually managed to weather the storm and come out on top. The 2 playoff runs prior to last season were both followed up by major periods of regression, something that was looming large as well in January. It’s also nice to see that the O’Reilly and Duchene trades (not even counting the pending 1st rounder) have already started to pay off. While Zadorov, Compher, Girard may not be future hall of famers, they all have become key elements of this team.

Why? Why would you taunt Jabu?

AJ, great article and right on target to focus on EJ. He’s given so much to the team over the last 10 years and not to (actively) be part of the playoff clinch last season but then to score the game winning goal in OT last eve…

Couldn’t have asked for better icing on the cake!

Emotions everywhere. You got to the heart of the team and the season. A lot more to come.

Great ending to the season, I still can’t help but hope that the team gets to the 2nd round at least. We’ve gotten this losing in the first round crap down pat. Let’s not be mini, please.

AJ, great perspective on the last three years and EJ’s ups and downs. another great comeback by the Avs. Cardiac at the end for sure. I think the desert dogs got to see the Avs clinch during their second period intermission and realize that their effort against the knights was all for nothing.
Looking forward to some playoff hockey. Time for the avs to do some damage!
