Star turn, gotta love it, your turn to shine tonight…. great to see the forward corp healthy. Glad to see Frankie bounce back.

Glad folks got to see the Avs on tv tonight, for us radio listeners, Mcnab drowned us in drool and trivia, I could of sworn there was no play by play call. It gets hard to listen to. Any other radio listeners frustrated by Mcnab turning McGahey’s play by play call into a disjointed diatribe of trivia and stories??? Where is Johnny Liles?

Interesting game, Mac described it as “brutal” in the postgame interview…didn’t seem quite that bad to me. Philly is much improved over previous years. Not a fan of moser or Mcnab, always prefer more polished National tv announcers. Studio guys Rycroft (stylish) and Keefe are good and jbarra has stepped in nicely. Mcgahey is by far the best IMO…

Glad I am not the only one. My biggest problem with Mcnab or any color analyst is when they intrude on the play by play call. It can really turn an exciting game or product if you will into boring event that is to be endured.

AJ, I don’t know if you want to advocate for us Avs fans out there with altitude or if you have access to the people doing the broadcast, but if you do and want to, let them know Mcnab really needs to keep the commentary to when play is stopped. Color analysis during play really ruins the TV or radio experience. Thanks.

Who is this Tyler Hal you are talking about?

Calvert, PEB, Nieto/Nichuskin is the havoc line we’ve been trying to find, forever. The stick work, hockey smarts and physicality, with just enough skill is so great to watch!!

Nuke has turned out to be quite promising. With Nieto coming off the books end of this season, the hustle/peb/nuke line is still amazing. I’ve been quietly impressed with Rosen, feels like a low ozone event version of EJ. This team is missing Makar. Kid is some kind of magic.

I don’t think the team pays a lot of attention to trade rumors usually. However, I’d imagine the boys want to show Taylor Hall “what it takes” to be on this Avs team.

I’m hoping Friday’s game will be a repeat of the Nashville/Chicago beat downs that we’ve given out.

What is the difference between Werner’s AHL and NHL money?

Guessing it’s about $8k per game? He has 725k nhl salary and 70k AHL base. So 725-70/82 is about 8k per game?

This Tyler Hill fella – I just don’t know. I wish there were some opinions available to read. Seems like no one is interested in giving them though…
