This is a comment on the app. I’m using an Android running 7.0 so maybe that is part of it. However if I listen to podcasts through the app the audio won’t run in the background or after the screen locks. I’ve made sure it has full permissions and doesn’t have a battery or power saver mode that stops. I usually listen to podcasts through Spotify, but I would use this app more if after I hit play it would keep going in the background.
