It’s pronounced “shied.” He’s a rookie, and he’s currently ranked 9th in the AHL among defensemen. Among ROOKIE defensemen, he’s ranked third in the league, right behind 1st round picks Jamie Drysdale and Ville Heinola. Wouldn’t have taken much time to do your research before dismissing him.
