yo… great call on Ryan Murray yesterday. the Avs now have NINE players drafted in the top 10 this year: Mackinnon, Johnson, Landeskog, Murray, Makar, Byram, Kadri, Jost, Nichushkin. Fully understanding that draft position does not directly predict NHL success, it’s a pretty good indicator of raw talent…. and damn, are the Avs icing a talented team this year. Do any other teams in the NHL have as much pedigree? Thanks. and please, no Yakupov jokes here…
