that’s a long way in the future, but providing they win a cup or two in the next few years and guys sign long term and play the majority of their careers here, i could see the following as potential candidates — Mikko, Gabe (because they like to retire all the numbers of all their captains so far), and Cale would be the top of the list right now. I might also put EJ as a possibility just for his longevity and commitment to turning the program around.
