If you go to the Avs site and listen to the answer Bednar gave to Chamber’s question on TImmins after the NJ game (12/13 post game comments), Bednar never *came close* to saying what Chambers reported he said. He gave a generic answer about ‘Joe and his staff’ constantly evaluating the AHL guys. It was pad paraphrasing/sloppy reporting by Chambers and even that’s charitable. Legit appreciating you pointing me towards it. It seemed like such an odd thing for Bednar to say. In proper context it’s much better. As always, should’ve done my homework before saying something stupid.
