I got two questions for both of y’all this week for the pod.
1. Who was your first Avs interview with ever, why was it that player, what about and how’d it go?
2. Jersey numbers are always a big topic when acquiring new players. With the current Avs, what ones sought out a number for certain reasons? Are there any stories behind some? What ones just took whatever? How do we convince Avs front office to ban 18?
My first interview was with Mason Geertsen because he was the closest guy to the door when I walked in. We talked about his Giants career and overall went well. My second interview with Chris Bigras…well…that’s another story.
