Not sure if you guys listened to the interview but Nathan seemed to imply that the reason Panarin apologized was because Nathan spoke with him every day for a several day period – I don’t think he said exactly how long. To hear him say “we were close” was a little heartbreaking. I took that to mean it was close to happening but maybe Nathan meant they became close over talking on the phone. The interview is very much worth listening to. Nathan badly wants to win multiple Cups – but we knew that already.
