I really loved this podcast and learning about Rachel’s story. Funny thing here is that I happened to spend a hockey season working in Monroe, LA for a season and let me tell you the culture shock goes both ways. I had just graduated from college in Minnesota and had picked up a pretty good Minnesota/Canadian accent and then moved straight there. I said to many people there, “we’re both speaking English, but we’re not speaking the same language.” I do appreciate it when you get a chance to introduce us to those people who are behind the scenes in one way or another but all help produce the final on ice product that we all love. BTW, if you ever get a chance to talk to the equipment guys (and I would love if you could get one on the pod) you’ll get the best stories out of them, I guarantee it.
