As for the Graves/Z conversation next year. I would say trade Z as he probably has the most value, and sign Graves to something reasonable for a 6/7th D which is where he will likely slot in once Timmins and Byram settle in and slot themselves properly. I wouldn’t mind even a 2 year deal at 2.5 million since that would fall off before serious cap crunch, and is still movable if you need to a year from now. If they offer him more term, then i wouldn’t go nearly as high AAV, but if it takes say 5 years at 1.75, i would probably do that.
