Hey guys, good pod. Question, can EJ waive his no trade clause for the expansion draft? Would he put the team first if he can on the likelihood that he would not be taken. Also, given your discussion on Z and G, if Z becomes super shut down D man and G is so so, can skate the puck out which is good. Do the avs protect Z over G?

AuthorCan he, yes. Will he, maybe? We don’t really know yet. Zero chance the Avs protect Z over G. It’s been a weak stretch for Girard but the Avs know he’s better than what he has shown and the contract they have signed him to shows where their loyalties lie.

Love the Detroit bashing, wouldn’t it be great if Detroit comes in under 48 points this year and then loses the draft lottery and has the 4th pick. LOL
