Question for the Pod: Any word on Meloche? How has he been playing this year? I would have liked to of seen him called up a week ago and given him a chance rather than bringing up Alt. We already know what Alt can bring to the table. Do you think that Meloche will get called up at any point this year? Obviously an injury or two could dictate that. Appreciate all the work gentleman. Keep on shredding.

Do you think that the AVS will look at a player like Panarin and try to use that as a comparable for Rants’ next contract? I know there is the age difference so obviously Rants’ will be larger but if Panarin gets crazy money (like 11-12 mil) will that just make the mikko contact that much higher?

With Arizona moving to the central, do you think there is a chance the offer sheet Austin Matthews. They can offer more than Toronto can afford and the first round picks would be worth the hometown top line center.
