Really nice job. Was heartened to hear the thoughts on Morrison. He didn’t stand out in the shooting and skating drills at dev camp and that’s understandable, it’s not who he is. But to my eyes he looked really good at the 3×3 game – a rock solid 2-way power forward who looked like a beast coming down the ice. I agree that we should still have hope for him. If Makar and Kaut make it big and one of Timmins/Meloche plus one of Bowers/Kamenev/Morrison and one of Shyvrev/Lewis/Ranta exciting times are ahead.

Please mention, or devote a whole show, to the World Junior Showcase that happened in BC recently. Didn’t Ranta have 2 goals in one game against Canada?

Meloche and Timmons both looked terrific to me when I saw them in person at the Prospect Showcase in San Jose last year. They were the best players on the ice when they were out there, except for maybe Kerfoot, Jost, or Compher.
