what if the avs sabotage the sens? Like: (I know this will probably never happen but) Offer sheeting Mark Stone? Take the Sens MVP forward away and sink ’em for the season to make our draft pick higher and also get mark stone?

Or actually execute a Karlsson deal for maximum season annihilation?

Come on now, AJ. We all know that Canada produces top hockey talent per capita at an exponentially higher rate. ?

To be fair, a lot of Canadians traditionally dislike American hockey players here in Canada, for the most part. Even through the last 20 Years. Guys like Bill Guerin, Brett Hull, Kesler, Kessel, Kane, Chelios and most especially Parise usually draw eye rolls from most Canadian fans.

I don’t doubt that as American fan over the last 20 Years or more, it must have been painfully frustrating to have been dominated by a country with ten percent of the population base. Things are definitely changing, though. As they should be. Matthews is a prime example. Let’s get the nhl back in the olympics, and see what happens. Looking forward to that again.
